Ghosts, Bones + Rainbows

As an amalgamation to my experiences with the post modern, along with borrowed pieces from childhood nostalgia to present memories, something too fierce to contain has been created - the “Rainbow Puke” series is an on-going project that is both maximalized in media and imagery.

In each piece a beast graphically regurgitates a pile of symbolic pop-culture influenced by cartoons, comics, tattoos, street art and memories. Being someone who grew up moving and traveling all my life, I've been using whatever art supplies are available. Some time ago, digital elements were introduced to my creative practice, which then allowed a new composite furthering my mixed media exploration.

Different versions have been made - some simply illustrated, others on the computer, and some mixed media paintings on canvas and wooden panels as well.
